General Features
Latest 32 bit software that incorporates Microsoft 'Jet' relational database with optional SQL server for practices requiring 10 or more screens. Unlike many Windows applications, MedidataWin clearly indicates operators entry position and status. Numeric, currency (money) fields are easily incremented and decremented and date fields provide easily entered dates without unnecessary formatting characters. Name and address entry fields automatically capitalise as required. By using a modern database engine patient, doctor and account information is located in a variety of ways. Importantly this includes identifying last changed patient and account records by the last date of operator entry.

Patient Accounts
MedidataWin provides patient private, re-directed 3rd party and Medicare paper accounts presented in accepted Australian medical account format.

Patient & Account Payments
Patient item charges are able to be shown as paid with a combination of cash, up to 3 cheques and EFT card. 3rdParty accounts payments can be by patient or all patients. Paid or part paid items show the specific payment(s) cheques allowing easy tracking of unpaid invoices.

3rd Party and Re-directed Accounts
Patients entered on the MedidataWin database can have up to 5 redirected account responsible parties. A patient might have a private (patient billed and pays) account, worker compensation account, company/union funded account and TAC (transport accident) or the like account all with independent fees and totals. 3rd Party accounts can be itemised to the particular patient or total of all charges across all patients.

Reporting
Reporting in the MedidataWin software allows detailed individual doctor and grouped practitioner analysis. All transactions are invoiced date, service date and invoice/receipt audit number stamped. This allows detailed reporting and summary sheets to be available. MedidataWin reports reflect our experience over the last 20 years of the needs of Australian medical practice. A customised report on the MedidataWin database is available for a moderate fee.
