The HIC Online (electronic patient claims and remittance, Medicare bulk bill, patient verification) is available within the MedidataWIN software. Please email ImageWare Technologies if you require this version of the software for evaluation.  

Windows 32 bit software, suitable for Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, medical patient accounting and reporting software for medical practice and allied health care practitioners.

General Features:

Patient Accounts:

(1)      Itemised unpaid, Itemised since last period, account rendered and payment receipt for patient and 3rdParty accounts on Medidata standard (pre-printed) accounts paper.
(2)      Patients accounts are optionally private and/or up to five distinct 3rd party redirected account entities.
(3)      Payments are able to be levied against individual items (specific items) charged to patients or the unpaid total of items paid oldest first.
(4)      Computer generated unique patient codes assists with patient privacy and consistency of patient accounts management. 
(5)       Additional note associated with any item charge code, together with easily posted explanatory account lines minimise patient confusion and account queries.
(6)       Provider doctor name, address, telephone and further heading information optionally available on accounts headings. This allows multi-partner practice either individually headed or practice headed accounts.
(7)      Payment for one or many items comprising a patient account can be by cash, three cheques and Card/EFT POS
(8)    In Specialist doctor mode software automatically flags referral date expiry

Item and Fee Codes:

(1)      Choice of 8 standard price descriptors (Private/ Scheduled/ 85% schedule/ 75% schedule/ Medico legal/ Health fund / Repatriation/  Workers compensation) or practice defined price settings.
(2)      Australian GST can be optionally included with any charge item. 
(3)      Item descriptions can run to 3 lines if required.
(4)      'Note' type items provide further patient detail.
(5)      Discounts, reversals and modification of patient item charges are easily made.
(6)     Payments are 'tracked' to charge items paid, minimizing medical accounts confusion with repeat consultation patients. 

3^rd Party Accounts:

(1)       3rd Party accounts allow redirection of patient charges to non patient debtor entities such as Medicare, Work Cover, Transport Accident Commission, Health Fund organisations and the like. 
(2)       Many patients charges are able to be directed to a single 3rd party organisation, with individual patient accounts printed as required.
(3)       Usual item charge rate (1 of 8 rates per item) can be assigned to any 3^rd party account.
(4)       Account statements are printed as itemised invoices, arrears statements or full transaction listing
(5)       Payments to accounts as with patients can be by cash, three cheques and EFT POS.
(6)       Locate a 3^rd party account by name, account type, date changed or account telephone number.

MedidataWin Reports:

Medidata employs a flexible reporting approach to practice management. Both financial and patient management reports allow any date period (i.e. any period specified by the from and to dates). 
(1)      Patient accounting lists of items charges audit, payments audit, patient aged balances.
(2)      3^rd Party accounting lists of items charges audit, payments audit, account aged balances.
(3)      Doctor financial reports including audit list and summary.
(4)      Patient next appointment, last seen date, by item number of service.
(5)      Office journals, adjustments list.
(6)      Item numbers and fees, referring doctors lists, banking reconciliation list.

Patient & Referral Dr letters:

Medidata allows patient, referral doctor and third party name and address information to be 'dropped' into your word processor letters. The Medidata Assist on screen facility provides a convenient listing of all the patient, doctor and third party details for quick transfer to any word processing task.

(1)      Patient mailing, patient test, referral Dr and 3rd party account labels quickly printed.
(2)      Envelopes printed as patient addressed, 'bill to' addressed, 3rd part account or referral Dr addressed on DL sized envelopes for mailing.
(3)      Envelopes printed with patient history details on standard C5 size envelopes.
